The Honor Magic V2 has already set the bar high for foldable phone design, beating out the relatively boxy Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Google Pixel Fold, and OnePlus Open, and Honor’s latest foldable is a visually even more impressive device.
As of this writing, the Magic V3 is the thinnest and lightest inward-folding phone on the market, measuring just 4.35mm when unfolded and 9.2mm when folded. The Magic V3 also beats its competition in weight measurements, weighing in at just 226g compared to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6’s 239g.
The Magic V3 also uses Honor’s proprietary eye-friendly display technology to deliver two of the most impressive foldable screens to date, while its long-lasting 5,150mAh battery should take any worries about foldable battery life to the next level. The phone also boasts an IPX8 water resistance rating and 50W wireless charging.
Of course, Honor’s Magic OS software still lacks polish (especially when compared to its mainstream competitors). But if design is your thing above all else, the Magic V3 is the best foldable phone money can buy right now.
3. Honor Magic 6 Pro
The Magic 6 Pro is a flagship phone in virtually every way, and it excels in most areas. As you can see from the bold design above, the cameras are the main focus, with the main, telephoto, and ultra-wide shots capturing stunning photos.
The excellent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is perfectly matched with the high-quality 120Hz display to deliver excellent performance. It also offers very good battery life and secure 3D face unlocking that rivals Apple’s Face ID.
It’s not perfect, though. The ultra-wide camera isn’t the most impressive, and the software won’t be to everyone’s taste. But that’s true for all Honor smartphones.
Ultimately, whether you buy this phone or not will depend on whether you can afford the steep price tag and don’t mind a bigger phone. If the answer to both questions is yes, then you won’t be disappointed with the Magic 6 Pro.
4. Honor Magic V2
Weighing just 231g and measuring 9.9mm thick when folded, other foldables can’t keep up. It feels like a regular smartphone in your pocket.
But the premium hardware doesn’t end there. There are two very good 120Hz OLED displays (6.43 inches external, 7.92 inches internal). The four cameras are not as good as the Magic 6 Pro’s, but they are each worth their salt.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is no longer Qualcomm’s latest and greatest, but you can still expect very good performance with little to no slowdowns or hesitations. And despite the two large displays, battery life is solid.
The Magic V2’s biggest weakness lies in its software, with some UI elements and many third-party apps not being optimized for the internal display. As a result, you won’t always be able to make the most of that large screen.
If you’re willing to live with these shortcomings and pay a high price, the Magic V2 has a lot to offer. But for now, most people will be better off sticking with a regular Honor smartphone.
5. Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design
The Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design features a foldable design with a glass back, magnesium frame, and sturdy titanium hinges. When opened, the body is only 4.7mm thick, and when folded, it is 9.9mm thick.
The 7.92-inch foldable LTPO OLED main screen offers a wide viewing experience, ideal for watching videos or gaming. It has a resolution of 2156 x 2344 pixels, HDR10+ support, and a maximum brightness of 1600 nits.
The 6.43-inch LTPO OLED cover screen is protected by Nanocrystal Glass 2.0 and has a resolution of 1060 x 2376 pixels, HDR10+, and a maximum brightness of 2500 nits, delivering vivid colors that can be used even in bright conditions. Both screens run smoothly at a 120Hz refresh rate, making them ideal for scrolling or gaming.
The stereo speakers provide loud and immersive sound. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the device has 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage for top-notch performance.
The camera setup includes a 50MP ultra-wide-angle main camera with OIS and a 20MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom. It can record 4K video at 60FPS (10-bit) with Gyro EIS, OIS, and HDR10+ support. The front camera supports video recording at up to 4K 30FPS with Gyro EIS for stabilization.
Connectivity is comprehensive with WiFi 7, infrared, NFC, and USB Type-C Display Port. The phone also features advanced sensors such as a hardware gyro and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The 5000mAh battery supports 66W fast charging and 5W reverse charging.
However, the device does not have IP certification for water resistance. It is 9.9mm thick and weighs 234g when folded. It also does not have a microSD slot, but the internal storage is already spacious.
6. Honor 90
The Honor 90 is one of my favorite mid-priced phones. It has a cool design on the back that looks pretty unique, and somehow manages to pack powerful hardware and a massive 5,000mAh battery into its thin chassis. This phone looks and feels a lot more expensive than it actually is, but it’s great for everyday use.
Despite its low price, the Honor 90 boasts impressive specs. For starters, the phone boasts a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 2664 x 1200 and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
It’s big, bright, and great for gaming and watching movies, thanks to HDR10+ support and HDR certification from streamers including Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
On the back, there’s a triple-camera system consisting of a 200MP main lens (with a 1/1.4-inch sensor), a 12MP ultra-wide lens (with a 112° field of view), and a 2MP depth sensor that helps the camera accurately measure distances.
Honor’s software and security support promises for the Honor 90 aren’t all that impressive. The phone is supposedly covered by two years of Android updates and three years of security updates.
However, the Honor 90 does offer more base storage, faster charging, and better display credentials than almost all of its mid-range rivals.
7. Honor 70
The Honor 70 is quite old, but it’s still a great choice to consider. What I like about this device is that it has a similarly slim profile to the Honor 90, has reliable hardware that holds up well to everyday use, and a camera that takes great pictures in any situation. And now that the phone is on sale, it’s a great value.
With a thoughtful and attractive design, powerful performance, and good battery life, it’s one of the better phones in this price range.
The camera is also very good for the price, and the 120Hz OLED display is a joy to use. However, many other mid-range phones offer a little more for the price. And the real weakness is the software, with a clunky user experience and limited update support. That’s not to say you should rule out the Honor 70, but it’s starting to show its age.
8. Honor Magic 5 Pro
The Magic 5 Pro is no longer Honor’s best smartphone in Europe. Its successor, the Magic 6 Pro, has taken over. However, it’s still a great phone to consider, especially if you can find a great discount.
In terms of display and battery life, this phone can compete with the best, and the camera is good enough to earn its place in that conversation.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset is a bit cold compared to other devices with the same chipset, but the striking design won’t win everyone over.
For most people, though, these are minor drawbacks rather than deal-breakers. If that’s you, don’t rule out the Magic 5 Pro.
9. Honor Magic6
The Honor Magic6 combines elegance and high-tech with a unique camera module encased in textured synthetic leather glass.

Video recording is solid, supporting 4K at 60FPS with gyro EIS and HDR. The front camera is impressive with a 50MP resolution and a ToF sensor, capable of shooting 4K video at 30FPS with stabilization.
For connectivity, the phone includes WiFi 7, infrared, NFC, and a USB Type-C DisplayPort, complemented by advanced sensors including a hardware gyro and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The 5450mAh battery supports 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging with a 5W reverse charging option.
However, the Honor Magic6 does not have an IP certification, so it is not officially waterproof, which could be a problem for some users.
10. Honor X8a
With the Honor X8a, the brand offers a budget Android phone that’s not cheap. Powered by the mid-range Mediatek Helio G88 chipset, it has a 100MP camera on the back, and its 4,500mAh battery will easily last you two days between charges. Don’t forget the bold and beautiful pattern on the back. It only has an LCD screen, but it offers a 90Hz refresh rate.
11. Honor Magic VS
The Magic VS is Honor’s second-generation foldable. It’s a much more refined version of the first generation, but its successor (the Magic V2) has been improved.
Despite that, there’s still a lot to like. The hardware is sleek, completely flat, and features a very powerful main rear camera.
However, you’ll have to live without waterproofing or wireless charging, and Honor’s software still doesn’t make the most of the form factor. Unless you can find a big discount, you’re probably better off buying elsewhere.
12. Honor Magic Vs2
The Honor Magic Vs2 features a foldable design with a glass or synthetic leather back, a magnesium frame, and a sturdy titanium hinge. It measures just 5.1mm thick when unfolded and 10.7mm when folded.

The Magic 5 Lite is a budget mid-ranger that, above all else, looks great, with a sleek, slender design that can easily be found on phones costing twice as much.
The excellent battery life also makes the phone stand out, but the outdated chipset, slow charging (there’s no charger in the box), and a decent but not-so-great camera hold it back a bit.
Still, if you want a phone that looks and feels like a flagship for a fraction of the price, you could do a lot worse. The biggest problem you have right now is that the new Magic 6 Lite costs almost the same.
14. Honor 100 Pro
The Honor 100 Pro boasts an elegant design with a unique oval camera module that stands out in the market.
The 6.78-inch OLED screen delivers vivid colors and supports HDR for brighter and clearer images. With a resolution of 1224 x 2700 pixels and a maximum brightness of 2600 nits, it performs well even in bright outdoor conditions. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and gameplay.
